"Thank you Niantic for helping me battle & beat mental health issues."

#PokemonGO: 3 years ago I moved away to somewhere where I had no friends locally, year later I had an anxiety attack that messed me up for just little under a year, I couldn’t socialise, couldn’t go out bexUse of panic attacks and couldn’t meet new people. My life basically stopped. I wasn’t going to college and it was pretty depressing. Then, on the 1st of October, Niantic & Pokemon Go changed my life for the better, I was invited to a ex raid just round the corner from me. For a group of about 30-40 there was 10 of us who just clicked. Now we hang out most days, go out to London to catch Pokemon, have meals out together, talk every day and it is a great group of friends. My quality of life is better, everything feels better. So, thanks Niantic, you guys get a lot of negativity, but you guys have rocked my world for this game and it’s values.Edit - mid twenty something male here, mental health can affect us all. Stop the stigma.Edit 2 - Thanks for gold, it’s a honour to share my story with you guys. Pokemon Go wouldn’t be so grand if it wasn’t for the community of all backgrounds that make this game seriously special so we all have something to be proud of here. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2oC4Ky3
