"Gardevoir as a T3 boss"

#PokemonGO: I appreciate that Niantic gave us ice raid bosses to help us build our Rayquaza teams, soloing Piloswine in clear weather is an easy way to get a decent Rayquaza killer. I also appreciate that Jynx is a little harder than Porygon, I actually go with something besides the autoselect and vary my team based on weather/boss moveset to get the most advantage. Thinking ahead to the next T5 raids (Latias and Latios probably? If not now, probably after the Regis at some point), I think Gardevoir would be an excellent choice as a T3 for the following reasons:Gardevoir as a T3 would be difficult, but doable. Even though Jynx is a decent challenge with hard-hitting Confusion and charge moves of various typings, Gardevoir is even harder, more along the lines of Zam and Ninetales. It's doable without weather boost, but just barely: simulation We need a difficult T3 to give the hardcores something fun to do :)Gardevoir is hard enough that you'll probably want different teams for different movesets (I did this for Zam and Gengar, but currently the only boss I do this for is Jynx. The pig and mouse are too easy, and Machamp's movesets are all so similar). Makes it a more interesting raid.Gardevoir's fairy typing would add new, fun attackers to the meta. In snowy weather, both Metagross and Scizor have viable time to win: pokebattler In cloudy weather, Victreebel and Sludge Bomb Gengar are viable, and even Muk is borderline viable: pokebattler I'd love to see some fun new faces in our lineups :)Gardevoir would be a good attacker into Latias and Latios. The Lati@s are Dragon/Psychic with Dragon and Psychic moves. Gardevoir resists Psychic and double resists Dragon, very useful considering the dodge bug in legendary raids makes dodging almost pointless. DG is STAB and SE with good DPE, which shoots Gardevoir to the top of Pokebattler's list in cloudy weather: pokebattlerTl;dr: I like how Niantic geared our latest T3 raids toward the latest T5 raid, and I think Gardevoir would be an excellent choice for the next rotation. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2teanIu
