"The most exciting idea for Switch Pokemon for me isn't the home console aspect, it's the possibility we might get new Mythicals not spoiled by datamining"

I don't think the Switch has been broken yet, but even if it hasn't, this might be the first time a Pokemon game doesn't have super-secret assets hidden inside of it that we all find out about on Day 1.I can't imagine getting a Mythical reveal for a Pokemon we haven't already been spoiled about. Heck, maybe it means games on the Switch will get compability patches when another game comes out so that, at least, those games can interface with each other (and maybe fix the issue of how, competitively, XY was killed off 1 year in because the added ORAS Megas couldn't interface with the games). via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2DXhhBU
