"Theory: new ex system is fortnightly, but we've had compensation waves"

#PokemonGO: We know the new system Niantic has clumsily tried to roll out involves quadrupling the number of cells giving passes (switching from level 12 to level 13 cells) and involves more passes per gym. My theory is the new system involves pass waves every fortnight instead of every week, to balance the higher number of passes each wave, and to give trainers more time to trigger a gym.But we haven't noticed because compensation waves have obscured things. I'm suggesting after they botched the rollout on the 6th (the wave that gave passes at gyms on the moon spun once), they gave a compensation wave on the 9th; after they botched it again on the 20th (accidentally used the old system), they gave a compensation wave on the 24th.It explains why there were no passes during the Valentine's week, and again no passes this week. Now watch passes go out in a few minutes and prove me completely wrong :-) via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2tgd1xp
