"Niantic, please let me be my son's friend!"

#PokemonGO: My son is playing PoGo with a PTC Account. He is under 13 years old. Access to the friends functionality isn't available for him. This is really frustrating and is teaching all the wrong things: do the right thing (use a PTC account with correct birthday) and you are being limited, or lie about your birthday or use your parent's login, i.e. violate TOS, but be able to use everything. I don't want games to set a bad example. It is also really disappointing for a Pokemon game, which in theory should be kids and family friendly. Please change this so I can allow him to use this as well:Ask the parent if the child may use the friend functionality. (opt-in)Ask the parent if the child's location and recent activity may be shared with friends. (opt-in) (If this is not allowed, don't show recent activity and use no or some default location for the postcards)Each friend request has to be approved or declined by the parentEach trade request has to be approved or declined by the parentFor added security, trading may only happen if the parent is also within the 100m radiusI am not a lawyer, so I may be restricting too much, and the first two opt-ins could be already sufficient. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2JXTDgx
