"Just traded a sunglasses Squirtle (not shiny) to a friend who didn't have one, and it only cost 100 Stardust"

#PokemonGO: My friend missed the Squirtle event due to work, and when I traded him a sunglasses Squirtle for the first time, it only cost 100 Stardust. We are great friends, so we were expecting it to be 16,000.Is this a glitch or something?Edit: My friend got one of the "Catch 5 Squirtle" task right as the event started. He hasn't finished it yet (just at 2/5), but it appears that just carrying the research is enough to satisfy the requirements of having the form, for trade purposes anyway.
