"Well Deserved Thanks To Niantic For Pokémon Go Fest 2018 Chicago"

#PokemonGO: I have seen many posts with outpouring love for how well Pokémon Go Fest 2018 went, and I have to confirm that for eight hours, we were in a Pokémon dreamland. No lines, no hassle, walked right in and the spawns were plentiful and amazing with shinies sprinkled in. The habitats were awesome, with plenty of space and hardly any overcrowding or areas where you felt cramped. Convenient rest and replenishment stations, not to mention clean. Great food trucks, just perfection. Me and my SO did have some trouble between 11-12 around the heavily trafficked Volcano and Glacier biomes (Verizon), however Niantic already had a response by the time we strolled up to the help desk and they already knew the problem and had the solution ready for us, which was an immediate relief. They moved those biome spawns to more accessible areas and had WiFi readily available, although it was sometimes hard to access due to heavy traffic. The challenges for rare candy and hunting Pokémon for Celebi gave the experience so much more depth than just raiding. Hats off to Niantic and a tremendous appreciation for what was surely a massive effort by everyone involved, and it delivered 1000 fold.
