"Pokémon Go at IKEA"

#PokemonGO: About a year and a half ago I was playing Pokémon Go whilst the fiancée browsed the houseplants in what can best be described as the "gift shop" area of IKEA (houseplants, photo frames etc) when I spotted two boys no older than 17 playing as well. They stopped me and asked what my best Pokémon was and showed me their collection before we parted.About 15 minutes later they came running up to me shouting across the store "there is a Hitmonchan in the warehouse somewhere!" So off we went in search. After 10 minutes of walking around trying to get the footstep count to go down (ah, back in the day) we ran into another middle aged man who was also searching for it, and off we went together. We eventually found it after a small gaggle of people called us over (now there was 8 or so of us looking for it) down the end of one of the rows.It was only a low level 279cp, but I've not found one since and I've kept it just because of this story.It's amazing how this one game bought together so many people in the strangest of places to be playing mobile games. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2PFi3KV
