"Trainers in Japan for the event may get some (serious) extreme weather conditions"
#PokemonGO: this is not game related but there are quite a few trainers that travelled to Japan for the Yokosuka Safari Zone event and should be made aware if they are staying into next week that a Typhoon is due to hit Japan. A couple nights ago I had the Japanese news running at the hotel and they put up a storm tracker map...back then the storm, already named Jebi, was a tropical storm but it has now been re-classified as a super typhoon. The dates aren't set but as I am flying out on Tuesday have been trying to follow the storm as best I can online - is looks likely to hit Japan sometime between Tuesday and Thursday next week. Typhoons are measured differently than the Atlantic hurricanes, according to one news source this one could reach a level 4 of an Atlantic storm equivalence. I lived in Japan as a kid and weathered a couple typhoons, they blow over and clear up the air but this one is starting to get interest in the news so might want to follow it too that if you are in Japan...stay safe trainers. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2PRHBo9
