"[Discussion]People are way too obsessed with IVs and don't really know how little impact they really have."

#PokemonGO: Am I the only one with that feeling? There were a lot of posts coming up about how "trashy" shiniest people caught with like 13 11 9 stats etc. And ask if it was even worth to evolve them.Sometimes I even find myself finding thinking like that, but then I remember that a maxed out Pokémon will have like 2-7 secs difference then.Edit: A lot of people here assume that I am a casual player and perfects are for people who reached level 40etc. I am not a casual and I know about damage breakpoints, got multiple raid teams and maxed out Pokémon. It's not like that I am maxing some average Pokémon. And yes, I prefer keeping some 90%+ IV Pokémon over some average ones. But people seem to overastimate the importance of IVs. Yes, there are some exceptions for people pushing the limits, but a raid group will still be able to defeat a boss even if you don't have a full team of 100%.All in all its bad game design from niantic side that we really have no late game content. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2AofS9a
