"Event idea, for common pokemon"

#PokemonGO: Common pokemon such as each generation's rodent and bird (ratata, pidgey, sentret, hoot hoot, zigzagoon, taillow, bidoof, starly) should all get shiny variants, and they get a 1 in 300 chance to be found shiny, with increased spawns for a week, plus double stardust. I was thinking this rather than just releasing them randomly one by one since not many would he inspired to go out and hunt these very non meta pokemon.
