Many generations have passed and every generation has come with a set of pokemon to choose from, while some are pretty well off with the tools they were given (Emboar, Infernape, the gen 7 starters) Others were given a ton to work with, (Charizard, Greninja, Blazikin). Others got screwed over in the end, Samorrot despite the cool design has a limited movepool and a horrible hidden ability. Delphox has been overshadowed by its furry bait middle evolution.
