But seeing as so many are complaining nowadays i see it fitting.Nr.2Its an actual sequel, You get to see what happened with characters from the first game, reacquiring characters. Your rivals from the first game become The professors assistant who gives you your Pokemon and Your second rival becomes a Gym leaderNr.3It was the last game where Exp share was not "everyone gets xp" and you have it on by default.Nr.4It features an actual rival you care what happens to. The plot for your rival revolves around him wanting to get his little sisters pokemon back from team plasma. Its been gone for years and he hatches his own pokemon to go catch the badguys who took it. He does not even get a pokemon from the professor. And he shows his hatred real clear. This is the only game... Where you actually chase the evil teams grunt, Nothing of "Oh screen went black and they went poof" This guy you have as friend get you and a gym leader to come chase this grunt.Game had its flawspokemon design got way too complex for alot of peopleWas linear which il agree on, but Pokemon games have not been linear since eitherI feel like im one of the only guys who likes these games.
