"Community Day information and observations for those who's event haven't started yet"

#PokemonGO: Being in the UK and for the first time the Community Day guinea pig i thought i'd put some information down in one place for those who are to follow:Note: This information is for the 3 hour Community Day window during the Community Weekend event.Server issues: None so far. The game froze on me once about 90 mins in but nothing out of the ordinary. It restarted straight away. Whether this is because we have a smaller player base, the whole weekend thing taking some demand off or if Niantic took extra precautions (ha!) who knows. Good luck to our Australian and Asian friends across the pond.Shiny rates: I'm only one person but they definitely feel boosted. I caught 1 shiny in about 100 outside of the 3 hour window and 9 in around 250 during 2 hours of the regular community day time. It's all RNG but that's a huge gap for it to all be random.Pokestop quests: Typical community day stuff. 3 catches for berries/balls/stardust. No specific pokemon this time, any catch will do.In around 30 stops i didn't find any sunglasses squirtle quests. The fact that no one else seems to have reported any probably means it hasn't returned.Catch rate: Also seems to be boosted to the community day levels. Starters have definitely had there catch rate increased as others have posted photographic evidence. I feel like Larvitar got his community day catch rate back too though i have no proof. I had nothing flee from me other than things i caught with the pokeball plus and even then it felt like a higher catch rate, maybe 6 out of 10.All other Community Day bonuses worked as normal during the 3 hours. Extended lure time (3 hours) xp and stardust bonuses on catches and any eggs incubated during that time got reduced distance. Eggs incubated before the start of your areas 3 hour event will still have the full distance.Hopefully putting this all in one place was useful to someone.
