"Feebas Day- Playing on Hard Mode."

#PokemonGO: Today was a surprisingly good day for me, going into this event after seeing what Europe went through I was expecting maybe 1 ounce of good luck. But instead I found a full cold hard day of sweat and strategy. Following a few users posts on how they would of or did play in Europe I prioritized certain stops first. Got my 2k egg close to hatching (1km) and started the loop finding egg quests first, once those were done and I added the feebas to my encounter stack, I went on to the nice throws only, then onto the buddy candy, then finally the great throws because I suck at throwing.Saw many frusterated players, friends, and even my girlfriend had horrid luck, but within the 3 hours I was able to do all 64 quests around the lake area I was walking. It was a constant swap and timing, remembering the research drops (wrote them down) and of course pure RNG. Ended up with 4 shinies and one was perfect. The event IMO; Should of had better spawns as in feebas should of spawned a bit more in wild. I feel like I only succeeded so well because the nest I was at was mainly Electabuzz spawns. There should of been easier tasks or more variety. When I was started the event there was many people around me playing, by the first hour a good half had left because of the no shinies. By the last hour the parking area was 7 cars out of the 38 spots and I only saw 2 others playing. The group I had gone with had left to raid, my girlfriend was at Starbucks warming up, and my friends in the city had went home.If Niantic reads these, I suggest making more diverse quests, and even possibly reducing the difficulty. Candy with buddy and egg hatching aren't bad, but 10 great throws and 15 nice throws, that's a bit much for low spawn areas. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2HoJ3OE
