"Moving raid boss encounters to the field quest queue"
#PokemonGO: Kyogre and Groudon's return to raids during the Hoenn event is arguably one of the best ways for new players to catch up with the current raid meta in a long time. However, it is crazy cold up here in Canada right now. Having tried to do 1-3 raids with my family every day since the start of the event has been a miserable experience with very few bosses caught. Due to the cold one of two things tend to happen.1) Our phones just shut down due to the cold. We got a solid mix of Iphones and Androids and it's the same on every phone. (Iphones seem to last a little longer)2) Getting to the encounter part of the raids is usually fine as long as we pocket our phones while we are in the lobby. However, after a few minutes of taping the screen our fingers tend to go numb. Numb fingers are horrible for trying to pull of good throws. I've invested in gloves that work with touch screens, but it's not really viable.A suggestion would be to move the encounter itself to the field quest queue. This way we can do it at our own leisure later in a warmer place. This may just be something we struggle with, but in general I think this would be a nice change as you actually have to beat the raids to get to the encounter anyways and nothing is preventing you from moving your phone with the encounter from the raid site once the boss is down. We tried pocketing our phones after a Kyogre raid just now and when we got home the encounter was just gone from 3 out of 4 phones. If people think this is a horrible idea, then I'll check my frozen water privilege. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2AUGApJ
