[discussion] I was born with an extremely rare bone disease classified as CRMO (Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis) that prevented me from being able to walk when I was young and on top of that, Type 1 diabetes. My life was really hard, but my older brother introduced me to diamond and pearl when I was around 7.Pokémon changed my life and made me feel like I actually had a purpose when everyone except family put me down. My infernape was my best friend and Palkia was the first legendary I ever caught. I know my story isn’t of much importance, but I owe so much to Pokémon because of what it did for me and I thought I would share.TL;DR: I was born with autoimmune diseases and Pokémon was my escape when people made me feel worthless and I can’t thank Nintendo/Gamefreak enough for my favorite franchise of all time. via /r/pokemon http://bit.ly/2BFhUSp
