"Why the Friends list needs QOL improvements"

#PokemonGO: Been a big fan of the friends system since it was introduced and Niantic have done a lot to motivate more players to send gifts, trade and engage in pvp. But despite all the incentives and research tasks, little has been done to improve the list and navigation. It's a chore when you have lots of friends. I know players who have stopped sending or opening gifts simply because it's such a drudge. Isn't it about time Niantic added some filters or improved sorting options? The biggest thing I think they've missed out is the option to see immediately (or filter out) friends tagged as "Your friend still has an unopened gift from you". Having to scroll through up to 200 friends and click on each one individually to see if you can send them a gift takes ages. Then you have to close. Then do the same boring task for the next one. And the next one...The other QOL improvement would be a filter to hide people who've not played (or opened a gift) for a specific time. Again this would save having to scroll continuously through long lists. If there's no chance of leveling up with a friend because they're not actively playing at the moment, it'd be good to hide them. The "2+ days ago" flag isn't enough help in this respect.TL;DR please Niantic add something to allow Friends who still have an unopened gift or are inactive to be hidden, filtered or sorted. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2qytn3m
