"[SPOILERS] Base stats of Galarian Forms, potential moves"

#PokemonGO: Sword and Shield have been leaked and datamined, so we now know the base stats and moves of all the new Pokémon in the Galar dex. That means we can now calculate what their base stats are in Pokémon GO.Because Galarian Forms have already been datamined in PoGO's code, they are probably coming sooner rather than later, possibly in some sort of launch event.STAB-moves in bold letters.https://ift.tt/33J4pNE of evolving into Persian, Galarian Meowth gains a completely new evolution, Perrserker. It won't be topping the DPS charts anytime soon, but maybe its versatile movepool and good defensive pure Steel typing can make it useful in PvP?Galarian Ponyta and Rapidash keep the same base stats as the Kanto versions, but have different typings and moves. They still won't be very good in PvE, but in PvP, a Galarian Rapidash with Psycho Cut and Body Slam or Stomp would be an excellent shield baiter.Galarian Farfetch'd becomes pure Fighting-type and gains higher stats compared to its Kanto version. It has the potential to be a huge threat in Great League with Counter and quickly charging moves like Leaf Blade, Body Slam and Brick Break. Its new evolution, Sirfetch'd, has great stats for PvE, but is held back by mediocre moves. It does have a Fighting-type signature move, Meteor Assault, which could make it better if added into PoGO.Galarian Zigzagoon and Linoone become part Dark-type, making them extra weak to Fighting moves. Linoone gains some nice new moves, like Snarl and Counter. Its new evolution, Obstagoon, isn't very good in PvE (worse Dark-type DPS than Granbull), but it might be okay in PvP.Galarian Weezing makes me sad. It has a great typing, but the only fast move it can learn is Tackle. It learns a bunch of low-power moves that could that could be added as new fast moves in PoGO, like Fairy Wind or Smog, but it's up to Niantic if they want to implement them or not.Mr. Mime's Fairy-typing gets replaced by Ice. It has somewhat worse stats in PoGO than Kanto Mr. Mime. In PvE it loses in Ice-DPS to Cloyster, and in Psychic-DPS to... Girafarig? Eugh. It does have a very wide movepool, and BoltBeam might be decent in PvP. Its new evolution, Mr. Rime, is just a bulkier Jynx.Corsola is dead due to coral bleaching. It becomes pure Ghost-type and gains a new evolution, Cursola. Corsola has great stats for Great League, while Cursola has the third highest Ghost-type DPS after Chandelure and Gengar.Darumaka and Darmanitan are yet-to-be-released Gen 5 Pokémon. Its possible they could be released in PoGO alongside their new Galarian counterparts. Galarian Darmanitan becomes the new Ice-DPS king, with less TDO than Mamoswine. For some reason, its Zen Mode form has 323 attack, which is only lower than Deoxys-N and Deoxys-A. With its best possible moveset, it would have higher DPS than Deoxys-A, with nearly four times the TDO. Let's see how Niantic chooses to handle it.Yamask gains a new Galarian form and a brand new evolution in Runegrigus. They have the same base stats in PoGo as their Unovan kind, but become Ground/Ghost instead of pure Ghost. Runegrigus learns some neat moves like Dragon Pulse and Earth Power. It doesn't learn any Ground-type fast moves, unfortunately.Stunfisk, another fifth generation Pokémon that's not yet released in PoGO, also receives a Galarian Form. It has a great typing in Ground/Steel, which gives it only four weaknesses (Fighting, Fire, Ground, Water) and 10 resistances (double resistance against Electric and Rock, and a triple resistance against Poison). It will probably see quite a bit of use in PvP.And that's all of them. Not too exciting if you aren't interested in PvP, but many new ones to add to your collection if you area.EDIT: Stats for all new Gen 8 Pokémon. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/34MQ9TY
