Think about it. You’ve been playing Pokémon for 20 years. You’re just minding your own business and HOLY CRAP a Mew just showed up. Even if you don’t catch it, you’re one of very, very few people to encounter this creature. I realize how ridiculous 1/1,000,000 is but it should be crazy odds because it makes them more valuable and awesome when you or someone else finds one.It’s way better than giving everyone one out through events imo.
