"There will never be a Pokémon anime arc as cool as Team Rocket cheering for Infernape during its fight against Paul"

Team Rocket for the first time thus far in the entire anime up to that point (and to my recollection might still be the only time since) cheered for ash in one of his league battles, and it stemming from meowth, Jessie and James all seeing Paul abuse his Chimchar and meowth trying to give chimchar advice at several points throughout the series while it’s under ash’s ownership, for it to all beautifully culminate with Infernape’s amazing blaze and it wrecking Paul in an all around amazing match before that makes Ash vs Paul not only the best Pokémon fight but one of the best anime fights I’ve ever seenThe Kalos fights look very pleasing but there seems to be minimal character attachment to these battles and a lot of them aren’t that amazing via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2VLFV4h
