"While I’m not a fan of dynamaxing as a battle mechanic, I think raids should be a staple for legendary encounters."

I really like the raids. Idk if this is the first time a raid like mechanic was introduced to a Pokémon game, but for the purposes of catching Pokémon that, by lore, are super powerful, I think it should stick around. It makes battles feel like actual battles. My starter Pokémon has no business and no right to just straight up one shot a legendary. For the sake of competitive and casual pvp sure it makes sense. But imagine if we get sinnoh remakes and Giratina ACTUALLY is a threat that could wipe your team? Imagine being forced to actually fight the mon instead of just master balling it right away?As much as I wish we could go back to standard Pokémon and remove any gimmicks, or at the very least return to mega evolutions (I thought they were cool), I fully support raids. It’s actually pretty epic. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3phR36f
