"Meganium gets too much hate."

Okay, I should preface this by writing that I’m a longtime Typhlosion user. But I’m replaying SoulSilver right now, and I decided to go with Meganium (who I’ve used before, but sparingly). So far, it’s been a really solid in game choice (not talking about competitive here). I run it with Toxic, Safeguard (really useful since status problems have been bugging my team the entire game), Petal Dance, and Synthesis. The first two gyms weren’t a problem with Mareep and Pidgey. And Meganium’s not my main attacker, but it’s really useful for healing. I’ve thought about getting it to learn Reflect and Light Screen again, too. Also, Meganium’s easily the cutest starter. That counts for something.Since I’ve had good experiences with the Pokemon, I was wondering what are some other unpopular starters that people have really enjoyed using? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3q40l5h
