"Why is it so needlessly complicated to move my Pokémon around?"

So this is the first time I’ve tried to move Pokémon from my DS to my switch. And what the actual fuck.So to start I need to pay $20 for a years access to the services. $5 on DS and $15 on the switch end just to be able to send them from the DS.Second, I have to have a gen 7 Pokémon game inserted in the DS system just to be able to access the Pokémon bank boxes that have nothing to do with the game cartridge. I was moving Pokémon from blue and silver on virtual console. Which brings me to my next pointWhy does there need to be 2 separate applications to send Pokémon to begin with? I need to use poke transporter and can only send entire pc boxes at a time. So I first need to go into that game and move every Pokémon that I don’t want transferred into a different boxThis should be a super straightforward process. I sign into my nintendo account on a Pokémon home master portal app, choose any Pokémon from any box in any game installed or inserted in the DS system, and save. Then I should be able to open the Pokémon home app on my phone or switch and see them there and be able to move them into any game installed or inserted on the switch. Fucking bloody hell it took so much trial and error just to figure this out i feel like I’ve gone insane via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2PJVIk5
