"Weird glitch in Pokemon Ruby."

I was shiny hunting jirachi and am about 4600 resets in when after putting it on my game I went to check if it was shiny. This time when I pressed start the pokedex and pokemon options weren't in the menu. I walked outside and saw some moving trucks. It looks like the game started over without me.
