"Is the Switch worth it?"

Greetings! 3DS user here. The only Nintendo consoles I own are the Wii U and 3DS XL, so naturally I've only played the 3DS pokemon games. You know, X and Y, ORAS, Sun and Moon, and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. I've played a bit of Black 2, but I've only made it to the choosing a starter part. I was sad when I learned that Nintendo stopped making Pokémon games for the 3DS, since then I've replayed my Pokémon games a lot. Kinda tired of it though, so I'm thinking about getting a Switch to continue playing Pokémon. But I want to know if the games are good enough. Can yall tell me yalls opinions on the Pokémon games? Thank you!Edit: Forgot to mention that I will eventually play other games if I get a Switch.
