"This game needs a built-in calendar"

#PokemonGO: Niantic: please stop telling us to mark our calendars; instead, show us all the upcoming events in an in-game calendar that we can check at a glance instead of dropping this info into random and verbose blog posts. It's really annoying to open the game to see all the same Pokémon appearing, or nothing but 5-star raids going on, and then have to go digging through a bunch of blog posts to figure out what I'm missing out on. (I'd like to add, most of the time when I open the game, I'm doing it for a very specific reason, which means any blog posts that pop up at launch get immediately dismissed.) If you want more player participation, an in-game calendar is how you make it happen. As an added feature, users could allow the in-game calendar to send notifications if they're desired, or just implement a straight-up "Add this event to my Apple/Google/whatever calendar" feature. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/H3cbFl9
