"Today I went on a journey…"

I’ve been wanting to play a Pokémon game for the longest time now, and today I finally sought out to start a new one, but which one do I play? I wanted to start a new file so that takes out a majority of my library because I didn’t want to lose my progress in Y, Sword, Let’s Go, Legends, Rumble, or Heart Gold. I went to play Platinum but alas my brother had a save file on it (with a full odds shiny gastrodon like what) and White would not work for me. That’s when I remembered my hidden gem. I have never played it, never even played a game from that region, but I had to find it. After searching for 5 minutes I found it, I found the game I was looking for.
