"Dear Niantic, Please Give Us The Option for Shortened Evolution Animations"

#PokemonGO: Everything is in the title, but I'll go a little further. Recently, animation times for menus and catches were shortened, and IMO, that micro update was one of the best user quality updates in recent history. I feel like we're long overdue for a shortened evolution animation.This may seem like a small thing to ask, but for players (especially returning players) that are trying to grind away the medals requiring evolutions, it's such a drag to have to sit and wait through animations. I roughly did the math and at 8ish seconds per mega evolution and 17-18 seconds per regular evolution, you'll have sat through approximately 43,000 seconds or 12 hours of ONLY ANIMATIONS by the time you platinum the Scientist (2000 evo) and Successor (1000 mega evo) medals.My proposed solution: Give us a Settings option to shorten or remove animations after the initial Dex entry or just make them faster overall. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2LWBZIu
