"Alternate Abilities: Pokemon with Weak Armor"

Always thought Weak Armor is a strange ability. A fair bit of the Pokemon with this ability are defensive and slow in nature (it flavour fits Magcargo perfectly but it sure doesn't fit its stats!), and even then if they have decent enough Speed that can actually take it to a good benchmark, their Spd is still quite average before the setup.So what if Pokemon with this ability had a choice to swap it with a different Ability?Onix would have Solid Rock. Could be interesting with Eviolite.Omastar would have Sturdy, to help with Shell Smash set ups and survive Grass attacks. Or Anger Shell, since it looks angry and would be a better upgrade to Weak Armor.Kabutops would have Sharpness.Magcargo could have Drought (intense heat, it's a living magma snail) or White Smoke (based on Dex entry of rain turning into steam around it).Skarmory could have Sharpness (feathers were used as swords) or Light Metal (hollow/light metal body based on Dex entry)Boldore could have Sand Stream, since it becomes this when evolving to Gigalith anyway. Or Sand Spit if one still wants a sense of evolution/payoff when evolving to its final form.Crustle could have either Hyper Cutter (Dex mentions it's strong claws) or Solid Rock (would go well with it's typing since it has a few weaknesses).Garbodor could have Rough Skin (Garbage can have dangerous, sharp objects, like the steel pipe thing on it's body) or Toxic Debris.Vanilluxe could have Water Absorb/Storm Drain (Dex entries mention swallowing water to form snow clouds, Storm Drain for Blizzard pun), or RefrigerateMandibuzz could have Rough Skin (bone accessories look sharp at some areas and work with its defensive spread), Frisk (looks for bone accessories) or Battle Armor (a connection to hunting for Cubones).Polteageist could have Storm Drain (it combines with tea, and it's in a teapot)Cursola could have Pressure (Absorbs spirit energy) or Overcoat (Ectoplasm protecting its core).Armarouge could have Mega Launcher and Battle Armor.Ceruledge could have Sharpness, Cursed Body or Anger Point.Any thoughts on alternate abilities?​ via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/HIK4DpZ
