"Capture bonus flash on success?"

#PokemonGO: Just caught a couple of normal Pokemon, and something caught my eye, no pun intended. After the first catch, the capture bonus medals REAPPEARED on the Gotcha screen, and had a white flash on them. Watched closely for the next capture, no flash.
