"I've made a study of the most common Pokémon in a desert biome (Córdoba, Argentina)"

#PokemonGO: ResultHello travelers!I've conducted a small and simple study to see which are the most common spawns in my city, Córdoba, Argentina, which I think is a desert biome.My method was asking different people how many Pokémon of each kind they've caught in a questionnaire made with Google Forms, then I transferred the results to a spreadsheet where I rearrenged them and made the final graph.The things I discovered in this study:Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee appear with the same frequency, the same happens with Kabuto and Omanyte.Aerodactyl and Snorlax are the rarest Pokémon in here, followed by Dratini and PorygonThe most common Pokémon by far are Pidgey, Ratata, Paras, Ekans, Growlithe, Eevee, Venonat, Spearow and MankeyThe most common evolved forms are the evolutions of the most common Pokémon (Except from Eevee)~1.65% of all Ratata, Pidgey, Magikarp and Zubat are really DittoSome Pokémon species were removed from the questionnaire because:Their spawns were influentiated by the eventsIt's an evolved form of another PokémonThere is a nest in town of that speciesThe total amount of Pokémon analyzed was 37767All the people that participated have not been outside Córdoba since the game launched.Special thanks to PekoPong, LaEscobaPro, VikingoCba, LuckasMati and Josef.Edit: Magikarp and Psyduck seem relatively common because there was a small water biome in the city some time ago, but it's gone now, and they are both pretty rare. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2jTZ4wy
