"Snorlax Error!?"

#PokemonGO: So I am at home, watching Youtube and being a lazy slob. I checked my Pokemon go to see if there were any Scythers at the nest near my house, and it showed three of them up. I got excited and grabbed my keys to drive out to stop there. After catching one of them, I notice there is now a Snorlax on the tracker not far from where I am.. I ditched the Scythers and drove over to the Snorlax.  So I get there, spin the stop, and poof! the Snorlax appears. I tap him and it zooms into the Pokestop.. Okay, annoying. I go back and the phone vibrates. Nothing has changed (or so I thought) and I tap him again. This time, it zooms into a Pidgey which had spawned right behind the Snorlax.. Piss off, Pidgey! I exit out again and try the Snorlax at a different angle... ERROR! Snorlax disappeared without a trace. '~'  This would have been a milestone for me, but apparently the game had other plans for me.
