"Thank Arceus for this event!"

#PokemonGO: I'm a rural player who stopped playing in early September and picked the game back up after the release of gen 2. This event has been fantastic for filling out my Pokedex; not only just because of the tons of new Pokemon in 2K eggs, but because the event also pushed me to purchase a bunch of incubators so I am hatching stuff at a rapid rate. I currently am at 2900 Pokemon caught.My reason for this post is that I see tons of people complaining about their lack of Aerodactyl; people not only saying that they aren't hatching one but also that it was their last dex entry.Yesterday I hatched a Snorlax and an Aerodactyl out of consecutive eggs, both new dex entries for me. However, I still do not have Arbok, Sandslash Dugtrio, Primeape, or Raichu as even shadows in my Pokedex. Ive only ever found two wild Pikachu, and several Mankey and Diglett; never a single wild Ekans or Sandshrew. And yet I have an Aerodactyl... I know I'm lucky and it's due entirely to the event.So thank you Niantic for giving players everywhere a chance to grab some rare Pokemon! Lots of rural players complain about cities being so much better for the game, so this has really given them something to be happy about and play towards!Edit: Snorlax didn't come from a 2k egg via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2nT5Vf0
