"The sheer number of legendaries in USUM will be terrifying"

I fear the next Pokemon game. I've come to realize that Game Freak has the tendency to release a game with a new region, and new Pokemon, but with few to no old legendaries. This can be seen in Ruby/Sapphire, Diamond/Pearl, Black/White, and to an extent, X/Y (The legendary birds and Mewtwo can be found in this game). For the most part, these games only have the legendaries that are new, and nothing else. They then release another game to coincide with this new game, sometimes a remake of a previous game and sometimes a sequel to the game released in the same generation, and they fill it to the brim with old legendaries. They do this so that completing the Pokedex is possible. For example, in FR/LG, the standard Kanto legends appeared, along with the Johto beasts and a few event legendaries, such as Lugia, Ho-oh, Deoxys, and Mew. Then HG/SS came in with the Kanto and Johto legendaries, but added Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Latios, Latias, and strangely, a few legendaries from the same generation (Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, obtainable through the Sinjoh Ruins event). By this point, it was starting to get out of hand, and when B2/W2 came out, it came with Unova legendaries, the Regis, the Lake Guardians, Regigigas, Cresselia, Heatran, Latios, and Latias. It proceeded to explode in OR/AS, with Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Mesprit, Uxie, Azelf, Regigigas, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Cresselia, Heatran, Zekrom, Reshiram, Kyurem, Tornadus, Thunderus, Landorus, Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion. And this was in combination with the standard Hoenn Legendaries: Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, the Regis, Latios, Latias, and Deoxys. It was horrifying, and it was all because X/Y only had 7 total legendaries in it, 4 of which were catchable per cartridge due to the legendary bird the player could catch being determined by their starter, alongside Xernias/Yveltal being determined by version. If this trend continues, there is reason to feel genuine fear for the next game .Game Freak didn't put ANY old legendaries in Sun/Moon so you better be ready to catch 'em all in US/UM, because this time, the legendary train doesn't stop. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2vTIPp2
