"[Story] Thanks, TSR - we made a kid's day!"

#PokemonGO: I went out with two friends and made the trip to Louisville, KY for a change in scenery. It wasn't that exciting, but later in the day, we saw a Lugia raid a bit off the path, down by the riverfront.One of our team still doesn't have Lugia, so we went. NO ONE was there. We waited and waited. I'm 38, one friend is 32(?) And the one without Lugia is 27. Also, I had my wife's phone with me because she's working like crazy this week and is pretty much unable to play to get a Zapdos. I already managed to get her one, so I hadn't been using her phone really after that, but to get my other friend a Lugia, I was willing to break the rules a little again.. but, there was no way the three (/four) of us were going to take him.Eventually, a group of three came up (we did a Charizard raid earlier with them), another guy, and another guy with some kids, only one was playing. This gave us ten, we should be able to do it. We jump in...The raid starts... the kid is kicked out. We offer to drop out and restart. Dad says no, that the son's phone just doesnt do raids and always errors out. We fail to beat Lugia.I kinda talk to the dad a little about his kid's problem. Dad thinks it ia the network the kid is on. I offer to let them use my WiFi (i play on a tablet via my cell, and I have unlimited data, so why not let him try?) Heal up, try again. We launch back in... 11 people there. Not sure who the 11th was, but we'll take it. Raid starts. Kid errors again. We fail to beat Lugia again.Suddenly. Two guys come running across the grass from one direction, and two other guys and a girl start coming from another direction. And we find out when they get there, one of the guys is running two accounts as well. 17. Yay. While waiting for the others to get to us, I start talking to the dad about more about his son's issue. Finally, I figure it out - the kid's phone isn't set to AUTOMATIC TIME!!! This isn't an issue for me, but I've read enough threads on here to match his error issues to this problem. So, I show them how to go in and switch it up. We all hop back into the raid... and whadda know, kid doesn't error out! He gets to beat the raid! Not sure if he caught Lugia (my friend didn't)... but now, he can actually do raids going forward! WHOO!Please keep sharing your troubleshooting tips on here, folks!
