"Experience from an employee at the Pokémon Safari Zone in Oberhausen"

#PokemonGO: The first time I was at the CentrO in Oberhausen was when they introduced the second gen in February along with some new stops and a little event over there. Then a few months back they added a LOT more sponsored stops and after that the CentrO was basically one of the best places in the world to play Pokemon at.It was around that time that we realized you can't play there every day without reaching the maximum number of stops and Pokemon per day.But in the past there where a lot of downsides too:Every event so far had basically some kind of disaster:a lvl 19 player promoting his youtube channel, basically not knowing anything about pokemonno gpscollapsing wifimobile data overloadedunmet expectations about the eventOur local community didn't want that anymore. We wanted something better, something that you can look back to and be proud of.So my friend who also plays Pokemon passionately, got into contact with the centro and told them what the players want and what is needed to have a good event.Together we organized a group of 12 people which are super informed about Pokemon, the technical aspects of the game and the CentrO as well. The CentrO went with it - they listened to us and upgraded their WiFi, got a huge tent so there wouldn't be long waiting lines for the tickets and got a radio mast for Vodafone and T-Mobile to improve their mobile network. And last but not least the YouTubers Reversal, Julian, Schilling from Spieletrend and Hong really helped the event as well. From all the people I have helped yesterday only O2 customers where complaining but luckily that's where the CentrO WiFi shined, so those with O2 could still play as well.A lot of people asked me what they can do if they don't have a ticket and we always informed them to go to those 2 parks near the CentrO where rare spawns where still pretty awesome with a lot of pokestops as well.Over the whole day our little group really tried their best to make everyone as happy as possible and I think we succeed with that.I think it is important that you have people around you which love the game and know how to help you out in every situation.Every Pokemon Go event needs that.We don't have a lot of feedback from CentrO yet but I heard that Niantic was really happy with how the event went.Overall there were very little issues and of course there is still room for some improvement here and there but I think it was a huge success and hopefully the CentrO decides once more to host an event like that.If you have any questions feel free to ask!Edit: T-Mobile, not Telekom via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2f3xFXB
