"Results of city wide mini-challenge for Stardust, 23 participants"

#PokemonGO: So at the start of the Equinox Event i decided to start a challenge in my Whatsapp group (100 members) to try and get the most dust out of the event. I tried separating by Trainer LVL, to not demotivate our low level players and promised a small price. So here are our results. The group under Level 34 made average 250k. The winner was at 480k. The group of more "hardcore" players over LVL 34 made an average of 700k.8 Players managed to get 1 Million or more Stardust. The Maximum in our group was 1574761 closely followed by 1529371. Our total (23 Trainers) exceeded 15 Million Stardust. Thank you Niantic for this event!Edit: Most of the higher players use the Go+ but i guess what really made the difference was spending cash or not. FTP trainers did not make it into 1 million. Our winner would have to catch 7500 Pokemon wich is probably impossible because of the 3500 max pre week. If however he hatched 300 10km eggs he would have not needed to catch a single Pokemon. He still would need to walk 220km with all 9 Super incubators running only 10km eggs. So its impressive anyway, and it was a combination of both. Our 1 Million canditates played 10hours straight on the last day (wich was a public holiday in Germany). via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2yWJCHi
