"[Repost] I tried to use 1 Golem to 1V1 Solo Scyther Raid, it is not as easy as Pokebattler says."

#PokemonGO: According to pokebattler.com, if you are using perfect dodging and dodge all, you can one-on-one a Scyther raid with a (nearly) maxed Golem with RT/SE, whatever the moveset the Scyther boss has. The Golem I have been using is at level 38.5, with 15/15/14 IV, with RT/SE.Nevertheless, you wouldn't know the actual difficulty of 1v1 solo until you try it. I have tried 3 Scyther Raid bosses so far, their movesets are:Air Slash/Aerial Ace (on version 0.79.4)Fury Cutter/Night Slash (on version 0.79.4)Air Slash/ X-Scissor (on version 0.81.1)Quick movesTo my surprise, despite of Golem's resistance against flying type, plus the lower power of Fury Cutter, both quick move hits pretty hard on Golem, and even you dodge it, the damage done is significant and your Golem's health bar is very likely to be shorter than the Scyther's. This is probably because of both being STAB moves and Scyther's 170 attack stat, which is a pretty high one.Charge MovesBut that's not the end of the story, now let's move on to charge move. Scyther's current 3 charge moves are all in 3 bars, and with very quick animation. No matter what the quick move is, Air Slash with high EPS, or Fury Cutter with low EPS, combined with the energy provided by your Golem, the Scyther can charge up two bars of the charge move easily within a few seconds. All those ended up would make dodging harder and drastically decrease your DPS because you cannot get the pacing right.Lag, and all those game bugsAnd of course, last but not least, dodge bug, boss gaining HP, and phantom hit are also the main obstacles for you to succeed, probably thanks to the prediction algorithm of Niantic server. Now here's the cliphttps://youtu.be/1wXVDfWSp-oof me trying to 1V1 solo this Scyther boss. A total of 3 attempts are in here, 2 of them are me trying to dodge as much as possible, and the one remain is me using some "cheat", which is FuNKyShO's Gatorade strategy. My dodging skill isn't the best, but seemingly even one have more precise dodging skill than me, 1v1 soloing Scyther is not always possible, which is even harder than Lugia 1v1 Machamp with no revive in my opinion.Update: Rock Throw has an animation time of 0.9 seconds, which makes quick dodging a bit more difficult, that could also be the reason why using Golem to 1v1 a Scyther is hard.TL:DR: It is very hard to 1v1 solo a Scyther Raid via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2yVFlHD
