"Did anyone started playing Pokemon with a remake ?"

I just had this idea when I played against a dude with a Typhlosion on battle spot. I imagined him playing gen 2 in 99 on his gameboy color. But then something occurred to me : what if his first gen was actually gen 4 with HGSS ?So yeah, I always associate peoples' nostalgia of the first three regions with the first tree gens, but did any of you actually started with a remake ? via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2EE8arD
