"I used 12 revives on a kyogre raid while they used none"

#PokemonGO: I arrived 10 minutes early to do a mystic kyogre raid and was waiting around. This guy and his 3 friends show up at the gym and we start talking. We chat a bit and then we start. All of us are in the same lobby and there are 11 people total. Once we start the battle the 4 of them starts literally moving their legs and running away.I shouted to them, hey what happened? You're not catching kyogre? They said they had to hit another kyogre raid nearby thats going to despawn soon, but they will wait in the lobby to save revives and drive to the other kyogre raid. They said they don't need the extra balls.I ended up having to rejoin 2x and used up 12 revives and 11 pots. Is this how the game should be played? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2EgZI3Q
