"A Travelers guide to Finding Tropius in South Spain"

#PokemonGO: I just finished a 3 day trip through some of the bigger cities in Andalusia, that being Malaga, Gibraltar, and Cadiz, with a significant focus on catching as many Tropius as possible, and I wanted to share my findings, since I see a lot of questions about his rarity pop up often. While traveling I’ve gotten to observe the behavior of a few of the other regionals, and Tropius’s patterns are the weirdest by farTo make it short, he’s super weather dependent. As I only saw them during windy or sunny weather, and even then, if you’re not being aggressive about hunting each one you see, you won’t come back with many.He also seems to completely disappear at night, regardless of weather, and stay very rare well into the morning, as all but two of my catches took place between 9am and 11am, and none between 9pm to 9am.Malaga would be my recommendation to those hoping to pop in and catch one while in a rush, as it has a higher pokestop and spawn density than the other two cities I mentioned. Gibraltar wasn’t bad, but is harder to get around and a couple times I got up to run to a Tropius on my nearby, just to find it was on top of the rock and about 200 feet above me with no easy way to get to it.Lastly, if you’re in a situation where you want to make a quick detour, but would be disappointed if you didn’t find one, don’t go looking unless you can near guarantee a beneficial weather. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2n7Z6U4
