With only 117 base defense many Pokemon are able to hit the ~21 DPS required to duo. Given that Deoxys Normal Forme has no super effective hits on Tyranitar, there is little you need to know about beating it beyond Tyranitar. I am interested in seeing all the wacky duos this sub comes up with, or would r/pogoraids be a better platform for that?What’s more interesting than clearing the Deoxys Normal Forme raid is its use in the meta. With 345 base attack, it has the highest attack stat of all Pokemon currently released in Pokemon GO. Its ability to make use of this attack stat is limited by its near non-existent bulk and relatively poor movepool. For example, while it is exciting that Deoxys got its signature move right away, a 4 second cool down for a 70 base power attack sounds as bad on paper as it is in practice. While there are some unique niches for Deoxys-N in the Pokemon GO meta (mostly as an Electric-type attacker), you may want to save your dust and candy. If you have Deoxys needs, I’d say hold out for its Attack Forme.
