"Spoofer in my neighborhood ruining the game for me"
#PokemonGO: For a few weeks now, I've noticed that the same person is always taking gyms in my neighborhood at around 11 pm and dropping his Chansey/Blissey duos from the same two accounts. I have been physically present at many of these [different] gyms when he took it and saw no one else there, which gives me confidence that he must be a spoofer.A few days ago, I was out for a walk and noticed when he took one of these gyms. I decided to immediately take it back, fighting and defeating his Chansey/Blissey duo and leaving one of my Pokemon behind. I got home about 10 minutes later, and when I checked my phone he had already taken the gym back and dropped the same Chansey and Blissey. Since then, I have noticed that, while defending gyms for my team, I will often get my Pokemon kicked out while the rest of the Pokemon in the gym are left undefeated. This has happened multiple times in the past few days. Though I can't prove that I'm being targeted, it certainly feels like it.As a result, holding gyms in my neighborhood and earning coins has become an increasingly frustrating activity. I work during the day and only get about 30 minutes every night to walk around the neighborhood and battle the gyms that we have. I feel like there's nothing I can do to fight back as it takes me considerably more time to walk up to a gym and fight/drop at it than it does for the spoofer to do the same.Do you have any suggestions? Would I achieve anything by reporting the user to Niantic? via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2CjhDon
