"The sad state of Tier 5 raids"

#PokemonGO: So for those not up to date, Niantic recently cut the droprate of rare candies in T5 raids in 3.This leaves tier 5 raids in a rather awkward situation where they are almost not worth doing for the coming months as T5's are now inferior to lvl 3&4 raids rewards wise.Terrakion is okay on paper but realistically has no real use in the game as it's horribly outclassed for use against kyurem and reshiram coming up. It's nice that he's the 2nd best rock attacker but that doesn't actually make him a usefull pokemon worth collecting candy for, it just shows ttar and rhyperior are pretty bad dps wise. In nearly all of the possible uses of rock attackers it's outclassed by more common alternatives (mamoswine, kingler/swampert & machamp) or even just by generally being inferior dps wise to rampardos. Virizion and keldeos usability aren't much better so until we get an interresting T5 Pokemon again or the rewards are restored there is little to no incentive to do them outside of filling your dex.on top of this the lvl 3 and 4 raids are pretty uncommon compared to lvl 5 and don't get raid hours so it's not like this will sell more passes. It pretty much feels like they just gutted the incentive to grind tier 5 raids for no apparent reason. Without offering a viable alternative in the other raid tiersWhat is your opinion on the Nerf?Do you expect this will get reverted? Are there any upsides to this that I'm missing? What could Niantic possibly stand to gain from this? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2R3vbN1
