"Pokemon forgotten by Game Freak"

There have always been pokemon that have been unavailable in games; not every game has every pokemon obtainable in it. Generation 7 opted not to include make every non-mythical pokemon obtainable, and Generation 8 straight up does not include every pokemon in the coding.This is a list of pokemon that have not been made available in a game since Generation 6. I've also included Alolan Pokemon and Mythicals not in Sword and Shield's code.That's 71 non-mythical pokemon that have not been obtainable in a game since 2013/2014; almost an entire decade.Some notable pokemon:- The Stantler, Shroomish, Cacnea, Kricketot, Glameow, Blitzle, Deerling and Skiddo lines have not appeared in a regional dex outside of their region. Will they get a chance to in the next generation?- A more extreme case is Venonat which has not appeared in a regional dex outside of the Kanto and Johto dexes. It's the only Generation 1 pokemon with this trait.- With the removal of Hidden Power, Unown obviously hasn't been included in Gen 8. Hopefully it'll make a return in the next games. Catching all the Unown has always been a fun challenge to do.- Of the mythicals not included in Gen 8, every Gen 4 mythical is part of this list. It's quite peculiar.Do you think any of these pokemon will be made available in the next games? Or will they continue to be forgotten for the coming generations? Is there a particular reason these pokemon haven't been made available in recent games? Are they too forgettable, or uninteresting?With Dexit, the chance of there being a game with all the pokemon coded in it is unlikely.
