"What if instead of types, gym leaders specialized in a specific strategy?"

I was thinking about how to make new games and gyms more specifically more interesting and had this thought. Like instead of having a fire, water, grass etc we have weather, trick room, etc. not only would this allow for more creativity with the teams of the leaders but maybe the gym puzzle as well? I don’t know how most of this could be implemented or if gamefreak would since they might see it as too complicated for kids to handle, but would love to see what you guys think of this type of idea and how it would work via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3ipqeKk
