"I got permabanned and deserved it."
#PokemonGO: I was with my family at a cabin at a lake in California we used to go to yearly when I was growing up. Well, we had Wi-Fi, but no cellular reception with it being in the Sierra Nevadas; the closest PokeStops were in a town 15 minutes away called Chester. We had a lot of downtime at the cabin and I was itching to play Pokémon Go, but without any nearby Pokémon or PokéStops, I caved in and figured out how to install a bot to get my PokéFix.Long story short, I went from 22-25 in a week and it got addicting. I've never used something like a bot before, and I ended up with 125 Pokémon caught.Unfortunately, one huge thing that comes with cheating is losing interest in the game. It doesn't become fun anymore to go about the mundane way of walking around and hanging out with friends playing Pokémon Go. I still occasionally checked the app, but rarely played anymore.Well, two days ago, the ban wave reached my account. At first, to be honest, I thought, "aw man." and whatnot, but I'm glad I got banned. Now I can start fresh again, with my interest for the game coming back.Don't cheat, folks. It's not worth it. You ruin the game for yourself.TL;DR Making the mistake of botting made me lose interest in the game almost completely. Cheating ruins the game. Not just for the one doing it, but for friends who want to play with you, too.Enjoy the game the right way. Catch 'em all. The right way. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2aZYpKc
