"[Discussion] How many people, realistically, does Niantic expect to keep playing in the winter now that you can't spot Pokemon as a passenger? Or do they only care about San Diego?"

#PokemonGO: I bought a Pokemon Go Plus (only a month ago) specifically to catch Pokemon safely while driving. Niantic, of course, knew that they were going to make this change at the time, but made sure to hide that fact in order to con me into buying their product. So I'm salty about that, but at least my wife can scan the Sightings list while I drive, and we can keep our eye out for cool stuff, right? Nope. The Sightings list is blank.Does Niantic honestly expect people to walk around in -20 degree weather with snow up to their knees, wandering aimlessly with no tracker trying to find Pokemon in the winter?I've never been the reactionary sort, but this change is just too far for me so I'm outta here. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2e3awEK
