"Bonus exp for 100th Pokemon caught"

#PokemonGO: Don't know if anyone has posted this before or not (or even really cares lol) but I just decided to run an experiment to see if you get the 100 bonus experience for catching your 100th Pokemon if you get to the 100 mark by evolving.Okay since I know everyone here likes the scientific method, here's the procedure I used.Took note of the number of pidgeotto's my pokedex said i have caught (768)Evolved 31 pidgey'sDouble checked that my pokedex now said I had caught 799 pidgeotto's, it did.Took note of my current exp (618,921)Evolved one more pidgey.Checked experience gained from evolving the pidgey. Only 500 :(Checked my experience just in case it didn't show the bonus, 619,442 :(In a strange bit of luck there just happened to be a pidgeotto spawned right next to me after the experiment. I caught it and only got 100 experience for doing so, no 100th catch bonus.Okay so that was my experiment and the conclusion. I'm sure that there are more experiments that could be done. Like actually evolving 100 pidgey's and checking g the experience just in case there are 2 different counters. Or evolving 99 pidgey and then catching a pidgeotto to see if you get the 100th caught bonus.
